Who's got plans for Memorial weekend? "I do!" I am so excited to be attending the Sunset Music Festival 2015, a week from today for the first time. So I thought it be best to give my first ever fashion or outfit post to the world of Raving! I've put together some outfits that I will be sporting at this years festivities. I hope you like it.
For an event like this during the Summer, I went with pieces that I would be comfortable in since it will be super hot and there's going to be much jumping and dancing around so I wanted to keep everything light as possible. That means steering clear of wearing heavy dark colors and certain fabrics. You dont want to be in clothing that's going to be too tight either because the more your body is able to breathe, the cooler you will be and the more you'll be able to move around and have fun.
My first outfit consists of your classic rave festival bra, and high waisted shorts. The gang I will be going with decided to go with a sort of a "nature" theme for one of the days. The bra itself says it all. I just love the colors and the bling along the bottom part of it. I did not make this myself but I can say that I am the proud owner of a piece of fine craftsmanship. I will be pairing these two pieces with my trusty combat boots, a flower crown and a ton of kandi bracelets.
My second outfit is pretty casual. Crop top which is surprisingly lightweight and some spandex shorts. Along with that are the same combat boots from the first outfit, a pretty dope snapback, a few pieces of jewelry, some fake tattoos and my favorite sunglasses. Simple right?

Going to a rave can be alot of fun but a little overwhelming if you're new to the scene. There's non-stop pounding bass, crazy light shows, people in outrageous costumes and you're around a complete judgement free zone. I just love the energies that house music brings all around. To go to a place where there's nothing but good energy and music and have yourself just get loose and have fun whether you're having problems at work or things in your life just aren't going very well, is what it's all about. Trust me, there are alot of people who come to these events who might be dealing with your same problems and nothing will stand in their way of having a good time.
