Lime Crime Venus Palette

Now that Fall is here, I feel that this would be the perfect time to talk about a palette that has blown me away recently. The Lime Crime Venus palette has been on my wishlist for so long and I'm very happy to now share this little piece of heaven with you.

Dramatic Fall Makeup

Haven't posted in a good while so I thought it was time to put up a few fall inspired makeup looks to this blog. Here's a dramatic one that's still daytime friendly. A subtle smokey eye with a deep berry lip. Face is kept clean still with no intense contour just some bronzer and blush. Hope you like it.

L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation

I haven't been on a trip for makeup products in a while so when I asked a fellow makeup lover what's in right now she told me about the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation and how much she loves it. This foundation comes in 12 shades and claims to be lightweight and gives a demi matte finish that lasts up to 24 hours.

What I'm Wearing: Sunset Music Festival 2015

Who's got plans for Memorial weekend? "I do!"  I am so excited to be attending the Sunset Music Festival 2015, a week from today for the first time. So I thought it be best to give my first ever fashion or outfit post to the world of Raving! I've put together some outfits that I will be sporting at this years festivities. I hope you like it.

Jaclyn Hill Favorites Palette

Morphe Brushes, known for their amazing quality, and very affordable brushes collaborated with awesome YouTuber, Jaclyn Hill and created a palette made from her top favorite eye shadows. This is the second time the company has released the palette after what happened during the initial launch on New Year's Eve and like many others, I was also unable to purchase this palette due to a server overload. I purchased the palette on the 14th of May, about a day after it's second release on the 13th. I admit after realizing that I could of possibly missed out on the palette again I almost cried but something in me told me I should take a look anyway just to be sure. I sat at the computer and quickly hit a few buttons on my keyboard to bring up the site and clicked the link to the palette and to my surprise it was still available. I couldn't help let out a high pitched sound of excitement after seeing that even after a whole day went by it was still there. I ordered the palette and after receiving the confirmation email, I was breathing a little more easier. Now, the question you're all probably asking: Is it worth it?

M·A·C Studio Conceal and Correct Duo

In my makeup routine, correcting my skin is very important. I currently still battle with dark under eye circles and some unevenness in areas of my face typically around my mouth and chin area. I'm always looking for the next best thing to help with this and I came across the Mac Studio Conceal and Correct Duo. With this product you can easily hide flaws and imperfections. This duo comes with a two correcting shades on each end to highlight, conceal and when mixed can be used create custom skin correction.

Glossybox "Welcome Box" Contents

Hey beauties! I love beauty box subscriptions. They are such a great way for you to try out products for a low monthly cost. I am currently subscribed to a few of these at the moment and I wanted to show and share with you the contents of my newest addition. So this time around I decided to go with +GLOSSYBOX US. The cost for this box is $21.00 and the company allows you to purchase a monthly, 3, 6 or yearly subscription package. Inside each box is 5 luxury, travel-sized products that's packed into in a pretty, pink reusable box with a card that gives you a brief description and total cost of the full-sized products you receive. So since they were sold out of the January Glossybox the package I received was with items that were packed together in previous boxes.

Vera Mona Color Switch Duo

Eyeshadow application has just gotten a whole lot easier. Ever wish that you could simply change from using a dark color of eyeshadow to a light color but using the same brush? I introduce to you a little clever invention called the Vera Mona Color Switch Duo. It allows you to change colors of your shadows quickly and efficiently without having to deal with multiple brushes. For me using multiple brushes to create a look can be a little frustrating and not to mention the amount of brushes needing to be cleaned afterwards.

Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette

I've never wanted a single palette so much as I wanted this new Tarte Cosmetics Tartelette Amazonian Matte Palette. I tried to tell myself I didn't need it or just wait till something better comes along but I just couldn't get over how gorgeous it was and I'm a sucker for a good neutral palette and just had to get my hands on it. If you're a everyday neutral lover like myself then this palette is definitely worth getting and let me tell you why.

Anastasia Beverly Hills "Heathers" Liquid Lipstick

Anastasia Beverly Hills has done it again! The team recently released a collection of liquid lipsticks for any occasion. The formula starts out in a liquid form then dries to super matte finish. I love products like this because you rarely need to reapply after you first put it on. As soon as they came out it looked like 4 of the shades had already been out of stock. So before any more sold out I decided to ahead and picked up one for review.

Avon Face & Body Scrub/Mask

I haven't purchased anything from Avon in a really long time and I was browsing through a catalog a few weeks ago and saw that they still continued the Planet Spa line. I never was one who really liked body scrubs or even knew what they were for but that was before I had my first full body treatment a little while back and ever since that experience, I've been looking for ways to replicate it at home. I came across the Perfectly Purifying collection set and  I said to myself "I need to try this!" Most of the ingredients can be found from the "Dead Sea" which many of the minerals there have been known to be used in many spa treatment products and healing rituals to draw out impurities. This collection comes with a mask and two scrubs for face and body and is perfect so that I can continue to give my body the TLC it deserves but without the costly spa prices.

December Favorites

Hi!! I had been battling an ugly sinus infection so for the past few days I've been catching up on my rest. So now that Im feeling a little better what better to start this new blog off with than some talk about the products I've been enjoying this past month of  December. The holidays are my favorite part of the year. Although holiday parties and gift shopping and gift wrapping sessions have kept me quite busy during the season, it didn't give me any reason from doing a little retail therapy for myself  here and there.

Welcome Back!

Its 2015 now meaning its time to start fresh. As you can see this blog has yet another new name and currently getting a makeover. I thought "new year, new blog". There are a lot of new things coming to this site that I  been working on. Things such as fashion posts with 'Outfits of the Day' Favorites of the month, more about hair and skin care and also some insight on my personal life. "That's Right!", this blog is no longer just about makeup but it still will be the strongest category since I love playing in eye shadow all day and can't wait to post new looks on here for you. I hope you all are enjoying 2015 so far and I'll talk to you soon.
